COMBAT RULES

WEAPONS INFORMATION
--------------------------

These rules apply to both the regular RP and non-RP areas.

ACCEPTABLE WEAPONS:

Any acceptable gun must meet *all* of these requirements *simultaneously*:

- Standard/training/damage bullets (test this)
- Forced reloading
- No active shell/clip/casing ejection. If your gun has these features, turn them OFF.
- No Push/Low Push bullets
- No more than 2,000 rounds per minute rate of fire.
- No more than 100 round magazines (or 50 each for dual wield)
- Single-shot, semi-automatic, or burst fire rates; your gun cannot be fully automatic.

Any acceptable melee weapon must meet *all* of these requirements *simultaneously*:

- No bullet scripts.
- No excessive particles effects.
- An appearance that fits the theme of Gothica.

BANNED GUNS:
- Breach
- C-Tech
- XLS
- Schism Industies
- Carducci's
- Armory Overstock
- Aubretech
- Sinistars
- Blooddoll Lulus
- Lightsabers
- Freebie Guns
- Souls of the damned
- Forced Prophecies
- Quantom Core
- LoLSBS scripted Guns
- Sirlor Stonecutter scripted Guns
- Caging
- Orbiting
- Any shields aside the one packaged with Black Ops' Raging Bull Revovler
- Any weapon that uses "temp on rez" for bullets, arrows, or other projectiles. This means that the projectiles must die on impact.
- Guns with built in scanners or targeting devices
- Weapons with excessive particle effects

BANNED MELEE WEAPONS:
- Samurai Island Swords (and similar weapons)
- Weapons with excessive particle effects
- Dual-wielded DCS-enhanced swords (unless they are the Dual Dark Swords or the Special Edition Dual Hellfires)

OTHER WEAPONS RULES:
- You cannot wear/use more than 2 weapons at once; additionally, you can only wear guns *or* swords, not a mix.
- You can only use matched sets, IE pistols, micro SMGs, or Claws that came together in the box. (Exception for 1 pistol with a sniper class weapon, used independently.) You may use a single one-handed gun and a single one-handed melee together, or a two-handed gun and basic claws (not the Cyber Claws).
- Any GM can stop you and inspect your weapons.
- Cyber Claws count as ranged and melee. You may only wear Cyber Claws and not use any other weapons.


COMBAT & ROLEPLAY
------------------------

INTERACTION RULES (only applicable in RP areas, not the OOC combat area)
- You must somehow give a warning that you're going to attack. Surprise attacks will *not* be tolerated. Valid methods of notification are RP, OOC chat, and IM. //CORRECTION MADE - added RP as a valid method of notifying someone of an attack.
- Constantly attacking a person is a form of bullying, and that will not be tolerated. You will receive a 3-day ban for any bullying you commit.
- Any attack must be somewhat justified. If you wish to fight for the sake of fighting, please proceed to the OOC Combat Area.

DCS2 ISSUES:
- DCS2 in combat mode is *always* required for any fighting. Do *not* use any other combat meters besides DCS2.
- You must have the latest publically released version of DCS2.
- Do not remove your DCS2 meter after being defeated. Accept your defeat with dignity.
- Cheating will not be tolerated. You will be permanently banned if you manage to cheat in any way.
