the forum needs a chat [ topic close ]

i recall theres a mod for chat

i do not now if the server have it but the forum ( phpBB ) have that MOD

is beter that post and save espace

Edit :

need to add security for Register ( theres is a opcion for acepting users only on autorizacion of the admin )
its safer that all free ( i now that only the members will now but there is the risk of spying )

I second the chat idea.

NOTE: this is a free forum and i dobut it will allow the hmtl codes to have a chat , and its mainly for keeping everyone posted about the RP that goes on IN game. and also for those who has work and can not log in to check for events etc etc, chat is what we do ingame

The security should be fine, and if someone decide to break our page ill just do another one, thats what site backup is for

The thing of it is, I don't think site security's going to be much of an issue. I typed in "Dark Gothica Forums" "Dark Gothica Second Life Forum" " Second Life Roleplay Forum" and about ten other search strings in Google and never actually found the site through a direct search.

Not to say we shouldn't have security measures, of course; I'm just saying, this place is about as hidden as Dark Gothica itself.

Hahah yes i unclicked to see us at any search engine, however we could get direct assaults from people that visit the sim or get pissed for beeing banned etc etc. i take backup once aday, so if they attack it all we loose is some posts

not the security of the forum ( not that ) the security of the post

there is a opcion to only accept users after admin permited ( that is the problem )

izample ( theres is some one that is of another clan and try to register on this forum ) they can and after they can read all post ( just turn on that opcion ) this way they can´t register

ah yes i know what you mean, i removed all that because people did not recive validation emails. however i can ofcourse validate them myself

i had that problem ( is the forum MX server that is on the black list ) or the emails a going to spam

its a problem but can be resolve ( try to send me a email ) to my server custume@custume.no-ip.org
and i will se if is black list ou spam
